OUR STORY

2nd Generation Family Owned Farm

Our farm is only about seven acres, just off Hwy. 60 north of Gainesville. Homer and Martha Trusty bought the land and home in 1962. They farmed. Homer always said that the land would support his grandkids. Richard and Connie (Homer and Martha's son in law and daughter), have owned and farmed it since 1998...either for personal use, produce farming, or most recently homesteading and selling some of our excess. In 1987, Richard and Connie married and so, 7H (# of Hendersons), came to be. Our numbers may have increased but the name remains the same. We want to share our blessings and our knowledge.

ABOUT 7H FARMS

At 7H Farms, we are devoted to raising organically grown fruits and veggies. We also have herbs and ornamental plants.

We grow what we enjoy growing and what we like to eat! In addition to our plants, we raise poultry, pork, and cows.

What poultry do we have? Eggs, chicks (we hatch on the farm), layers and dual purpose birds (there are a variety of breeds, including the Bresse chickens), turkeys, and Coturnix quail. Chicken math is a real thing!  All are raised on the pasture, antibiotic-free and non-gmo feed.

Right now, we only have one resident queen sow, Petunia. She is a little spoiled!

Current cow count is now three.

Our next venture (fingers crossed) will be rabbits.
